Our Team

Our History

Our History

We are currently seeking volunteers committed to Italian-American causes. We take our convictions and turn them into action. We need individuals to write to newspapers, post online, and contact public officials.  Donations are welcome to fight negative stereotyping and to preserve heritage and culture.  Think you would be a good fit? Get in touch for more information!

Our History

Our History

Our History

On June 12, 2020 a flatbed trailer hauled a Christopher Columbus statue away in New London, CT.  Italian Americans had no voice.  Twelve days later in historic Wooster Square in New Haven, Italian Americans' voices were ignored.  IADL formed to provide sensible solutions to attacks on Italian-American heritage, history, and culture.  Stop stereotyping and keep Columbus Day.

Our Mission

Our Mission

We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our Italian-American community. Only with volunteers will we be able to counter education campaigns and multimedia profiteering against Italian Americans.  You provide the momentum that helps us affect change. Italian Americans are hard working, intelligent, and faithful people with a rich, cultural heritage.
